Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting the research, development, and fabrication of microprocessor-based control systems and printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in food equipment and industrial machines. The role involves design validation, prototyping, PCB fabrication, and assisting in electronic troubleshooting and innovation initiatives.

Supports multiple R&D and production support projects

Works closely with Electronics Engineer and other technical departments

Receives and implements instructions from the immediate supervisor related to electronic design and development. Conducts research and development on microcontroller-based systems for equipment automation and control. Fabricates printed circuit boards (PCBs) and assists in assembly and testing of electronics modules. Collaborates with the Supervisor in reviewing and refining circuit designs, and recommends solutions to address design flaws or performance issues. Assists in electronic troubleshooting, debugging, and performance testing. Ensures compliance with safety rules and proactively reports any incidents or safety hazards observed in the work area. Maintains good housekeeping and organization of tools, materials, and documentation within the electronics section. Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor or R&D Manager.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related course Licensed ECE is an advantage but not required Experience: Preferably with experience or internship exposure in PCB design, microcontroller programming, or electronics assembly Familiarity with food or industrial equipment is a plus Knowledge: Microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, PIC, STM32) and digital logic PCB design software (e.g., Eagle, KiCAD, Altium Designer) Basic knowledge of sensors, relays, actuators, and electronics components
