The role
We're hiring AI Builder Partners: full-time builders who sit alongside a senior executive and ship the AI tooling that runs their business.
The leaders we work with want AI built deep into how their companies operate, but they can only put two or three hours a day into learning AI. That's not enough, no matter how capable the models get. The AI Builder Partner is the person they hire to close that gap, week over week.
You will be embedded with one leader, learning their business in depth, and you will build the AI infrastructure their company runs on. This is a partnership role, not a project role. The leader wants someone alongside them week over week, not a contractor who delivers and disappears.
The work compounds: today you ship a workflow, next month it becomes part of a platform, six months later it is shared infrastructure across their team.
If you've been spending your nights stitching together agents, reading what shipped yesterday, and building things you can't put down, this is the role where you get to do that for a living, in close partnership with a leader who needs your help.

What you will do
-
Sit alongside a senior executive and learn their business in real depth
-
Architect AI inside their company as shared infrastructure, not one-off scripts living on individual laptops
-
Design, build, ship, and iterate on AI tools, agents, and internal workflows the leader needs to move faster
-
Write PRDs sharp enough that AI can execute against them with minimal rework
-
Vet third-party plugins, skills, and MCP connectors for provenance before bringing them into the client's stack
Who you are
-
Strong software fundamentals and engineering background.
You have built and shipped software before. You are comfortable with architecture decisions, build and deploy pipelines, and stack trade-offs. You have enough technical depth to catch AI when it is going down the wrong path (e.g., you know why you would pick Railway over Vercel for a given workload, and you can defend the call).
-
Claude Code depth.
You've used sub-agents and delegated real work to them, connected MCP integrations (Gmail, Calendar, Notion, Slack), authored custom slash commands or skills, and built with the Claude Agent SDK. You can articulate when to orchestrate work across multiple agents, and you also know when a single agent in a tight, persistent loop (a Ralph loop) is the better tool for the job.
-
Shipped real work.
You've packaged and delivered at least one piece (skill, plugin, agent, or small app) that another human uses. You've experienced what it takes to make something work in someone else's hands: install instructions, support, and "what to do when it breaks."
-
AI-first thinking.
You default to AI as the build layer, not a tool you reach for occasionally. You think in systems and shared infrastructure, not isolated scripts.
-
Self-taught and frontier-tracking.
You can show a track record of teaching yourself new things without being asked: side projects, public write-ups, courses you finished on your own, things you built because you wanted to know how. You know what shipped in AI in the last few days, certainly the last few weeks, and you have actually used the features released in the last three weeks, not just read the announcements.
-
Sharp communicator.
Highly structured. Clear, concise, fluent business English. You can walk a CEO through a technical decision in a way that respects their time and earns their trust.
-
Comfortable working with leaders.
You bring real professional experience working alongside senior executives, ideally at least four years of work experience after college. You carry yourself professionally, stay calm under pressure, and can hold your own in conversations with C-level decision-makers. You can self-structure a vague problem into a clear plan and run that plan without constant supervision.
-
How you show up.
You communicate honestly, execute fast, go the extra mile while you're learning the role, take feedback well, and adapt to both your client's working style and ours.
Other requirements
-
Available to work strict US business hours
-
Available full-time
-
Based in the Philippines preferred, but strong candidates from other regions are welcome to apply
How this works
You'll be hired full-time by one of Mindmaven's executive clients. The client's company is your employer, the executive is your day-to-day partner, and Mindmaven is the recruiting practice that introduces and onboards you. After placement, you work directly with your employer.
Growth opportunity
This role places you in close partnership with a senior executive at a U.S. company, working at the frontier of how AI is being deployed inside real businesses. You won't just be writing code; you'll be shaping how an entire company adopts AI, with full visibility into the decisions that move the business.
Salary
Starting from USD10/hour, negotiable to a higher rate depending on experience
How we'll get to know each other
Our process is designed to help us understand how you think and build, while giving you a clear sense of what the role is like. It moves through three phases:
-
Getting to know you.
A short application, a qualifier questionnaire, and a brief async video interview where you walk us through your experience on your own time.
-
Live conversation.
An initial interview to dig into how you approach the work.
-
Trial and final round.
A short trial project that mirrors the actual role, followed by a final conversation before any offer.
Strong candidates typically move from application to talent pool in 3 to 4 weeks.
