Who we are

The Robotics Lab brings together a diverse group of experts from various fields for development of products based on robotics technologies. The Robotics Lab aims to develop technologies that provide all kinds of services which can be expanded to spaces where it is possible for robots to coexist and work together with human beings.

Under the Robotics Lab, we are a team that focuses on control and design of medical and industrial wearable robots, as well as articulated robots, and we carry out a wide range of tasks from early-stage research to mass production.

Responsibilities

In this role, We are developing and researching model-based upper-body robot control and reinforcement learning-based control for precise task execution by a bi-manipulator robot in unstructured tasks.

■ Control Algorithm

  • Control and simulation for a perceptive bi-manipulator
  • Developing behavior control algorithm based on reinforcement learning/imitation learning/classifier-guided diffusion model
  • Planning machine learning based motion and developing motion control algorithm

■ Control Programming

  • Programming real-time robot control algorithm
  • Programming simulation for machine learning
  • Optimizing algorithm for faster computation

■ System Programming

  • Developing system surroundings control and wired/wireless communication
  • Understanding and implementing CANopen and EtherCAT communication system

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering/electrical/electronic engineering/robotics engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in following:
  • Bi-manipulator robot control and motion planning
  • Sim-to-Real development and implementations for robotics hardware
  • Control algorithm implementation using a robotics system based on a Real-Time OS and EtherCAT
  • Proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral business communication
  • Proficiency in C/C++/Python/MATLAB

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D in mechanical engineering/electrical/electronic engineering/robotics engineering
  • Those who have experience in optimal control, robust control, robotics, reinforcement learning-based control
  • Proficiency in Real-Time Linux, EtherCAT, Learning Framework, and Python or C++
