Job Description
<p>Subatron is a Swiss deep-tech startup developing next-generation underwater communication and sensing systems for divers, autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), and maritime operations.</p>
<p>Our technology combines embedded electronics, signal processing, underwater acoustics, robotics, and advanced communication systems. We are looking for a motivated student to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge underwater technology.</p>
<h2 id="tasks">Tasks</h2>
<ul>
<li>Support the design and testing of electronic circuits</li>
<li>Assist with PCB design and hardware validation</li>
<li>Develop and test embedded systems and firmware</li>
<li>Build and characterize prototypes in the lab</li>
<li>Support field testing and product development</li>
<li>Work closely with founders and engineers on real products</li>
</ul>
<h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>Currently enrolled in a BSc, MSc, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related field</li>
<li>Interest in embedded systems and electronics development</li>
<li>Experience with C/C++ programming</li>
<li>Basic understanding of microcontrollers and electronic circuits</li>
<li>Hands-on mentality and willingness to learn</li>
<li>Ability to work independently in a startup environment</li>
</ul>
<p>Bonus Skills:</p>
<ul>
<li>PCB design (KiCad, Altium, or similar)</li>
<li>Analog electronics</li>
<li>Signal processing</li>
<li>STM32 or similar microcontrollers</li>
<li>Robotics or embedded firmware development</li>
