Job Title: Test Engineer (Embedded Systems)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Engineer with experience in Embedded Systems testing along with exposure to Web/Mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, ensuring product quality, and contributing to automation improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create test scenarios, test plans, and test cases
• Execute test cases and validate functionality as per defined test plans
• Perform Embedded system testing, with focus on communication protocols
• Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for updates
• Troubleshoot testing issues and proactively resolve problems
• Contribute to test automation improvements and framework enhancements
  
  

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing
• Strong understanding of Embedded Systems (High Priority)
• Experience in testing Web and/or Mobile applications
• Hands-on experience in communication protocols:
• CAN
• MODBUS
• Serial Communication (RS232/RS485)
• Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies
• Basic experience in Test Automation tools:
• Selenium / Appium / Cypress
• Proficiency in Python (writing maintainable test scripts)
  

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience with cloud-native technologies/projects
• Exposure to automation frameworks development
• Experience in end-to-end testing from initial phases

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good analytical and logical thinking ability
