Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Develop, verify, and execute test software for modules and applications on Infineon 32‑bit microcontroller architectures using virtual prototypes and hardware emulation platforms (PERSPEC and Cadence Palladium)
- Analyze system behavior, debug issues and perform root‑cause analysis
- Port and execute test software on real microcontroller hardware and support bring‑up activities
- Perform functional and robustness testing in multi‑CPU microcontroller environments
- Develop automation analysis tools (e.g., Python or Perl) for data logging, diagnostics, and test evaluation
- Support system‑level validation, including robustness and EMC‑related test scenarios
- Document results and collaborate closely with architecture, design, and validation teams to support pre‑ and post- silicon verification of next‑generation microcontrollers
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
You are curious and solution‑oriented, enjoy working in collaborative teams, and take ownership of your work. You think ahead, assess risks, and continuously look for ways to improve systems and processes. You are comfortable working in an international environment with a strong focus on product and customer needs.
- A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field (M.Sc., PhD, or equivalent)
- At least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in microcontroller architectures and interfaces, ideally with focus on embedded software development or module/application test software
- Experience with debugging, system bring‑up, and troubleshooting in embedded systems
- Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Perl, or similar), ideally also AI/LLM‑assisted workflows
- Basic knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is a plus
- Strong English communication skills; German is a plus
