They are looking for a Java Developer to work on a massive, high-concurrency codebase where business logic is centralized and performance is paramount. There will also be a need to develop software to interface with network devices.

What will you be doing?

Manage Java application lifecycles from design through maintenance to ensure scalable solutions.

Develop software to interface with hardware.
-
Develop RESTful APIs with JSON and XML for efficient cross-platform communication.

Build and manage secure, high-performance Apache Tomcat applications with strong HTTPS protocols.

Optimize Oracle database queries for performance and reliability.

Design intuitive user interfaces with Java Swing and related technologies.

Integrate external services using Apache HttpClient and Java HttpClient.

Streamline builds with Ant and Maven.
-
Manage source code versioning with Subversion (SVN).
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Promote code quality through reviews and best practices.

What are the minimum qualifications?

Multifaceted experience.
-
3+ years of software development experience.
-
3+ years of experience with Java and/or C++.

Some hardware interfacing experience.

Experience with front-end development tools.

Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and HTTPS.

Hands-on experience with Oracle database or related.

Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
