This role focuses on DRAM firmware development, integration, validation, and debugging for SSD controller platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with embedded firmware, DDR4/DDR5 memory technologies, and hardware/software integration.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, and validate DRAM drivers for SSD firmware platforms.

Configure and validate DDR4/DDR5 memory initialization and mode registers.

Develop and validate DRAM read/write operations, gate training, and write leveling.

Configure and validate DRAM PHY IP.
-
Support DRAM ECC implementation and validation.
-
Develop test procedures and debugging tools for firmware validation.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve DRAM-related hardware and firmware issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software engineering teams.

Create technical documentation and support project schedules.

Drive firmware quality, performance, and reliability improvements.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in embedded firmware development.

Strong understanding of DRAM architecture and memory integration.

Hands-on experience with DDR4 and/or DDR5 technologies.

Knowledge of DRAM PHY, ECC, memory initialization, and training.

Experience with firmware validation and debugging.

Familiarity with signal integrity and high-speed interfaces.

Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering tools.
