Job Summary

We are seeking a Silicon Firmware Validation Engineer to join a cutting-edge team developing next-generation products at the intersection of silicon, hardware, software, and emerging technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for validating high-performance silicon platforms and ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality silicon solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in firmware validation, software development, debugging, and system-level testing, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and hardware-software interactions.


Key Responsibilities

• Validate high-performance silicon and firmware functionality across multiple platforms

• Design, develop, test, and evaluate firmware and low-level software components

• Modify and maintain databases and database management systems as required

• Create logical and physical database definitions and support implementation activities

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables

• Review project requirements and provide effort estimates, timelines, and technical recommendations

• Troubleshoot firmware, software, and system-level issues and implement corrective actions

• Support software development, testing, validation, and deployment activities

• Document technical designs, test plans, validation results, and issue resolutions


Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Experience with firmware validation, software testing, or embedded systems development

• Understanding of hardware and software interactions within complex systems

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams


Preferred Skills

• Experience with silicon validation and hardware bring-up activities

• Embedded firmware development and debugging experience

• Database design and management experience

• Familiarity with operating systems, compilers, and low-level software development

• Experience troubleshooting complex hardware/software integration issues

• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or similar
