About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior QA Engineer
with strong experience in
Embedded Firmware Testing
and
Web Application Testing
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in validating embedded systems, firmware communication protocols, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, API testing, and Agile QA practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge

products while collaborating with firmware, software, and product engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Embedded & Firmware Testing
-
Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and negative test cases for embedded firmware.

Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing using physical devices, test benches, and hardware simulators.
-
Validate firmware communication protocols including TCP/IP, Wiegand, OSDP, and RS-485.
-
Test firmware upgrade, downgrade, OTA update, rollback, and recovery scenarios.
-
Validate firmware behavior under edge cases including power failures, network interruptions, credential timeouts, and tamper detection.
-
Review firmware specifications, release notes, and technical documentation to identify test gaps.
Web Application Testing
-
Perform functional, regression, usability, and cross-browser testing for web applications.
-
Execute REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
-
Validate authentication, session management, access control, and input validation.
-
Identify UI/UX defects and verify compliance with business requirements.
QA & Test Management
-
Create and maintain test cases using Zephyr Scale.
-
Log and track defects using Jira.
-
Maintain QA documentation in Confluence.
-
Prepare test plans, execution reports, and release readiness summaries.
-
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, peer reviews, and QA sign-offs.

Collaborate with Firmware, Software Development, SRE, and Product teams to deliver high-quality releases.
