Senior Electrical CAD Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical CAD Engineer to lead the design and development of complex, high-performance PCB assemblies for next-generation connectivity systems. This role combines advanced PCB architecture, signal integrity, and automation to deliver robust, production-ready hardware designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HDI PCB stack-up design, component placement, and multi-layer board architecture
• Own complex schematic capture and circuit design using Cadence OrCAD/Allegro
• Drive SI/PI analysis, DRC, and cross-functional design validation
• Define CAD standards, component libraries, and PLM integration
• Develop Python-based automation and support AI-driven design workflows
• Collaborate with RF, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to resolve EMI/integration challenges
• Establish DFM/DFA/DFT best practices for scalable production

Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience in advanced PCB design / electrical engineering
• Strong Cadence Allegro/OrCAD expertise
• Strong knowledge of high-speed digital, RF routing, power design, and EMI/EMC
• Experience with PLM systems
• Proficiency in Python for engineering automation
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Desirable

• Exposure to AI/ML in engineering workflows
• Experience with DFM tools and manufacturing optimisation
• Familiarity with Altium, Siemens Xpedition, or KiCad
