GE Healthcare in Denmark is looking for a skilled Senior Hardware Engineer to join our team with a physical presence required at our headquarters in Herlev, Denmark.

In this role, you will be part of a highly competent Hardware Engineering team known for its excellence in product development. We foster a strong team-oriented culture built on knowledge sharing and peer reviews, ensuring high quality and reliability in everything we design.

As our new Senior Hardware Engineer, you will act as a subject matter expert in digital electronics and FPGA designs, applying your deep technical knowledge to support and sustain high-performance hardware for our ultrasound systems.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for FPGA and digital hardware design, including development, implementation, testing and integration
  • Maintains and supports the existing installed base platforms, addresses EOL components and lead smaller engineering change orders.
  • Acts as a technical resource, contributes to best practices, and supports project delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in FPGA and digital hardware engineering
  • Strong knowledge of digital logic, PCIe, and high-speed interfaces
  • Familiarity with navigating in a regulated environments is a plus
  • Experience with medical devices is an advantage but not a requirement
