About the Role

• You will play a key role in designing and developing reliable, high-quality firmware for Teletrac Navman’s solutions, including support for vehicle bus-based features.
• As an experienced senior firmware engineer, you will be part of the high-performance team helping us in our mission to solve our customer problems.
• You will be involved in designing and developing reliable and robust framework for tailored management solution, including support vehicle with features.
• Your responsibility will include developing, enhancing, and maintaining tailored embedded solution, producing high quality technical design and specification, specification to satisfy requirement from the other component for the entire solution.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain embedded firmware solutions
• Produce clear, high-quality technical designs and specifications
• Collaborate across teams to refine and iterate specifications, ensuring alignment with overall solution requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in firmware development using C
• Experience with Python is an advantage
• Proven experience working in an Agile development environment

Preferred Skills

• CAN Bus development, J1939, or other associated vehicle bus protocols experience.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate clear, creative solutions
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to software quality and knowledge sharing
• Passion for technical and team leadership, with a willingness to mentor developers of varying experience levels
• Driven to succeed, with a strong interest in career and organisational growth
• Keen to leverage automation and innovation to improve business efficiency and scalability
• Takes ownership and accountability, with a focus on delivering positive outcomes for stakeholders
