Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our R&D team developing the firmware that powers our advanced tracking and telemetry devices.

The firmware is primarily written in C++ , using FreeRTOS for task scheduling and resource management. The system includes a flash file system for configuration and log data storage, and integrates sensor and communication drivers such as IMU , GNSS , and GSM . Power efficiency and reliable operation are key goals, with the firmware managing sleep–wake cycles based on movement or user interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain embedded firmware in C++ for ARM microcontrollers or SoCs .
  • Develop and extend modules within the shared firmware core and maintain abstraction layers.
  • Implement RTOS-based scheduling and inter-task communication using FreeRTOS .
  • Integrate and manage drivers for IMU , GNSS , GSM , and other peripheral components.
  • Optimize power consumption , memory use , and system responsiveness.
  • Develop and maintain flash file system mechanisms for configuration and log management.
  • Perform debugging, performance tuning, and firmware validation on target hardware.
  • Collaborate with hardware and product development teams throughout the design and production lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering , or a related discipline.
  • 7–10+ years of professional experience in embedded firmware development.
  • Strong command of C++ and experience with RTOS -based systems
  • Experience with embedded Linux environments for edge-level processing and data analysis.
  • Practical experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers (STM32 series) or other ARM based SoCs.
  • Familiarity with communication interfaces and sensor integration (IMU, GNSS, GSM).
  • Understanding of low-power design , interrupt handling , and state management .
  • Experience with flash-based storage for configuration and logging.
  • Familiarity with telemetry systems and real-time data communication .
  • Experience working with multi-product firmware platforms or modular software architectures.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on the full lifecycle of real-world embedded tracking systems — from architecture to field deployment.
  • Collaborative R&D culture focused on technical excellence , modularity , and scalability .
  • Hands-on experience with diverse embedded technologies used in next-generation telemetry solutions.
