Role Description The Senior Electronic Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Solon, OH. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and validating electronic circuits and systems for ignition components, safety controls, and related products. Day-to-day activities include creating circuit schematics, selecting components, performing simulations, and supporting layout activities to ensure robust and reliable designs. The Senior Electronic Engineer will plan and conduct testing and verification, analyze test data, and drive design improvements to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring less experienced engineers, participating in design reviews, and providing technical support during manufacturing and product deployment.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Electronic Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Circuit Design and Electronics.
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Testing and validation of electronic systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
  • Several years of experience in electronic product design, preferably in ignition, safety, or control systems.
  • Proficiency with schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout tools.
  • Experience with laboratory test equipment and structured test methodologies.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements for electronic products.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience mentoring or leading engineering projects is beneficial.
