Responsibilities

• Translate complex algorithms from research papers into functional code
• Actively engage in prototyping and experimentation
• Develop and implement simulation models to replicate real-world scenarios and challenges
• Utilize simulation environments to validate and optimize robotic systems before deployment
• Perform quality control through extensive testing of the robotic system
• Manage code version control effectively, ensuring integrity and traceability
• Troubleshoot and debug robotic systems to identify and resolve issues
• Keep abreast of the advancements in robotics and relevant fields

Requirements and skills

• Proficient in ROS (Robot Operating System) with hands-on experience in developing ROS based applications
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C++
• A good command over Linux environment
• Deep understanding of control systems and feedback loops
• Skilled in integrating and configuring diverse sensors
• Good understanding of mechanics and electronics
• Team player with good and effective communication

Desirable skills

• Hands-on experience in designing and developing robotic systems
• Design knowhow using CAD software
• Electronics design knowhow
• Experience with Git hosting platforms like GitHub
• Gazebo simulation experience
• Sensor fusion expertise
• Expertise in localization and path planning
• Python programming experience
