Role Description This is a onsite, contract role for a Robotic Maintenance Engineer. The Robotic Maintenance Engineer will perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of robotic systems and associated automation equipment to ensure optimal uptime and performance. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, executing preventive maintenance schedules, and documenting all service activities and parts used. The role involves collaborating with engineering and operations teams to implement improvements, update maintenance procedures, and support system upgrades and integrations. The engineer will also assist in safety checks, compliance with maintenance standards, and provide guidance to site personnel on proper operation and basic maintenance of robotic equipment.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering, and Maintenance & Repair for robotic and automation systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Preventive Maintenance, including planning, scheduling, and documentation of periodic services.
  • Proficiency in Electrical Maintenance, including reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting sensors, drives, and control panels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience working with industrial robots, PLCs, and automation control systems; familiarity with safety standards for automated equipment.
  • Ability to analyze root causes, propose corrective actions, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote and on-site technical teams.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or on-call rotations as needed to support critical operations.
