Major Responsibilities
-
Develop and implement motion planning algorithms (e.g., A*, D*, RRT, Dijkstra) for AGV navigation.
-
Design and optimize multi-robot traffic management systems for collision avoidance and efficient routing.
-
Build C++ libraries for high-performance real-time systems and Python tools for simulation, testing, and analytics.
-
Integrate localization, mapping, and perception data into navigation and planning pipelines.
-
Implement and support interoperability standards such as VDA5050 for multi-vendor AGV fleets.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (controls, perception, software, operations).
-
Validate algorithms in simulation (Gazebo, Webots, custom) and in real AGV deployments.
Required
Knowledge and Education:
-
Bachelor’s (Junior) / Master’s in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
-
Strong proficiency in C++ (modern standards, STL, multithreading, debugging).
-
Proficiency in Python for prototyping, simulation, and data analysis.
-
Knowledge of path planning and search algorithms (A*, D*, graph search).
-
Familiarity with multi-robot traffic management or motion planning.
-
Experience with Linux, ROS/ROS2, and real-time software environments.
Preferred
-
Familiarity with optimization frameworks (linear/non-linear programming, MILP).
-
Experience with simulation tools (Gazebo, Webots, Isaac Sim, or custom).
-
Knowledge of SLAM, sensor fusion, or multi-agent coordination.
-
For Senior: proven record leading robotics projects from prototype to production.
-
For Junior: internship or academic project experience in robotics/AGV domain.
