Job Description

Cutting-edge wireless System-on-Chip programmes from concept to mass production, inside a world-class Swiss semiconductor manufacturer.

Our client is a leading Swiss semiconductor company specialising in ultra-low-power, low-voltage integrated circuits, and part of a globally recognised manufacturing group. Its solutions power IoT, consumer, industrial, automotive and medical applications, developed across international design centres in a collaborative, engineering-driven culture.

To strengthen its programme delivery, it is looking for a Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of low-power wireless SoC development programmes — steering delivery from concept through to production, coordinating cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, and managing key external partner relationships, with a strong focus on schedule, quality, cost and regulatory compliance.

Your Key Responsibilities

You'll lead and coordinate SoC development programmes end to end, from definition through to production release, owning project planning across timelines, resources, budgets and risk mitigation. You'll align technical efforts across hardware, RF, firmware and system integration, and bring engineering, product management and operations teams together to deliver as one. Ensuring product compliance with RF, cybersecurity, medical and automotive standards is central, alongside driving low-power design methodologies. You'll manage strategic relationships with external partners — suppliers, IP vendors and foundries — and provide clear, regular status reporting to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.

What You'll Bring

  • A degree (Master's level) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 5–10 years in project or programme management within semiconductor or embedded-systems environments.
  • Experience managing ASIC or SoC development programmes, with a good grasp of semiconductor development processes and low-power design concepts.
  • Knowledge of low-power wireless technologies (e.g. BLE, Thread) and familiarity with RF concepts and product-certification processes.
  • Experience with automotive development, functional-safety standards and regulated (e.g. medical) environments.
  • Familiarity with IoT cybersecurity requirements.
  • Project-management certification (e.g. PMP, Agile).
  • Ideally, exposure to selling or commercialising technology in the electronics/semiconductor space, with strong stakeholder and partner-management skills.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional, multicultural and internationally distributed teams, with clear communication.
  • Fluent English (essential); French an asset, German a plus.
  • Already holding the right to work in Switzerland — the client does not accept applications requiring any work-/residence-permit procedures.

What's on offer A permanent contract (CDI) at corporate-executive level, with genuine promotion prospects, in a stable, world-class Swiss engineering environment — working on innovative semiconductor solutions for automotive, medical and IoT applications within a globally recognised group. Please note: this role is 100% on-site in Neuchâtel, with no remote or hybrid option and no part-time.
