Role Description

We are seeking a Principle Engineer for Control Firmware Development to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at our Bengaluru location. The role entails developing, implementing, and optimizing firmware for advanced control systems in solar energy conversion and storage products. Daily responsibilities include designing and testing control algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring efficient and reliable firmware operation. You will also provide technical mentorship and contribute to the architecture and roadmap of firmware solutions, while driving innovation in renewable energy products.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Control Firmware Development, Embedded System Design, and Programming in C/C++
  • Experience with Control Design, including Model-Based Design and Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
  • Familiarity with Microcontroller Architectures, Bare Metal, Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), and Hardware-Software Integration
  • Expertise in firmware design and development for Power Electronics, Inverters, Power Converters and Motor Control Systems etc are mandatory skills required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on debugging proficiency
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems and energy storage technology is a plus
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to rigorous project requirements
