Principal/Sr. Principal Embedded Software Engineer

Please Note: Embedded Software/Firmware Engineering experience in the medical device industry is an ABSOLUTE MUST for this position.

"Must Have" Experience

• At least 8+ years of Embedded Software/Firmware Engineering experience including at least 2 years of experience in the medical device/life sciences industry. (Principal or Senior Principal title is dependent on years of relevant experience)
• Demonstrated experience in hands-on bare metal firmware development in embedded C
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review including experience with the Atlassian suite of tools (Bitbucket/Git, JIRA, etc.
• Experience with documentation, change control, and quality management systems. Experience with IEC 62304 is strongly preferred.
• Experience planning, conducting, and documenting tests in written reports.
• Demonstrated ability to take over a project and see it to completion without disrupting existing functionality
• Experience testing hardware and system performance with embedded software/firmware, utilizing JTAG interface, logic analyzers, Oscilloscopes or similar equipment.
• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or comparable accredited technical degree.
