About the role:

As a PCB Layout Designer , you will be responsible for designing high-quality PCB layouts for automotive electronic products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative automotive technologies in a dynamic R&D environment.


Main Responsibilities:

The role, within the Automotive R&D organization, will have the following main responsibilities:

  • Design and layout of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in compliance with industry standards and customer guidelines, ensuring that designs meet project requirements and are manufacturable with high yields and cost efficiency;
  • Preparation of all production deliverables, including gerber files, drill charts, fabrication notes, and assembly documentation;
  • Coordination of PCB fabrication with external suppliers.


Who we are looking for:

  • Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years working experience in similar position;
  • Experience in footprint creation for master libraries, based on manufacturers’ datasheets and in accordance with IPC-2221 and IPC-7351 standards;
  • Good knowledge of IPC standards for PCB design and manufacturing (IPC-A-600, IPC-6012, IPC-2221);
  • Good understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes;
  • Strong expertise in controlled impedance routing;
  • Strong expertise in DDR memory routing;
  • Experience with Cadence Allegro;
  • Good knowledge of OrCAD Capture CIS;
  • Experience in fabrication panel design using CAM350;
  • Knowledge of signal and power integrity for high-quality PCB layout is considered a plus.
  • Proactivity, strong time management skills, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines complete the profile.
  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel.
