Job Description

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Hardware Development & Prototyping: Design, build, and test low-power, compact electronic circuits optimized for dependable IoT architectures and robust wireless connectivity.
  • Design Validation: Conduct advanced circuit simulations across varying operational states (load shifts, thermal changes, and power fluctuations) using standard industry software to ensure peak efficiency prior to manufacturing.
  • PCB & Schematic Optimization: Create and refine complex hardware designs, schematic layouts, and PCBs for connected devices, balancing signal integrity, radio frequency (RF) performance, and energy efficiency.
  • System Integration: Embed sensors, actuators, and diverse communication modules into functional systems, ensuring smooth interoperability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with firmware, software, and cloud engineering teams to guarantee the seamless connection of hardware devices with back-end infrastructures.
  • Compliance & Security: Implement hardware-level security mechanisms to prevent tampering, while ensuring all designs meet industry-specific safety standards and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) regulations.
  • Documentation & Mentorship: Guide and support team members in simulation best practices, while maintaining clear design records, including BOMs, architectural diagrams, and simulation models.


REQUIREMENTS & PROFILE


  • Education: University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a strictly related technical field.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with major circuit design and simulation suites (such as Altium, SPICE, or equivalent).
  • IoT & Connectivity: Solid knowledge of wireless protocols and connected technologies (including cellular networks, Bluetooth, WiSUN, etc.).
  • Regulatory Standards: Familiarity with industry certifications, IoT compliance, safety rules, and EMC testing.
  • Security & Hardware: Previous experience incorporating security features at the physical hardware layer.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, agile problem-solving capabilities, excellent cross-team communication, and a strong drive to adapt to emerging technologies.
