We are looking for a skilled, proactive Electronics Engineer to join our growing R&D Hardware team. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of next-generation hardware projects, driving innovation from concept to production.


Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Architect the Hardware: Develop, own, and scale all critical electrical modules powering UVeye’s global fleet of automated inspection systems.
  • Integrate & Innovate: Seamlessly integrate cutting-edge components and advanced sensors into our complex, multidisciplinary systems.
  • Design the Core: Drive end-to-end PCB development activities, constantly iterating to optimize existing designs and launch next-gen products.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Systems, Mechanics, and Software teams to align engineering efforts and build revolutionary features.
  • Own the Solution: Act as the technical authority on hardware reliability, leading root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for complex electrical components.


Requirements:

  • Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on Electrical Engineering experience within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary company.
  • Technical Mastery: Proven proficiency in electronic circuit board design and development.
  • System Integration: Solid background in integrating complex components, including power supplies and communication protocols ( I2C, Ethernet, UART ).
  • Tools & Software: Experience with hardware development software ( Altium Designer is a major advantage).
  • FPGA/Programmable Logic: Practical experience working with programmable logic array modules.
  • Testing & Validation: Proven track record in experimental setup, validation, and custom jig design.
  • Ownership: Background managing end-to-end modules, including direct collaboration with external subcontractors.
  • Mindset: Highly motivated team player with a proactive, "can-do" approach, comfortable navigating the agile and dynamic environment of a high-growth startup.
