This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies. 

 

Hardware Engineer (f/m/d) for analog and power supply modules – High performance computing (HPC).

 

What you can look forward to as a Hardware Engineer (f/m/d):

  • Design and development of analog circuits and/or switched‑mode power supplies.
  • Creation, adaptation, and integration of circuit blocks and circuit modules.
  • Testing and characterization of digital circuits with regard to mass production.
  • Performing tolerance analyses in accordance with automotive requirements.
  • Ensuring EMC, signal integrity, and power integrity through simulation and measurement.
  • Preparation and maintenance of documentation in compliance with automotive engineering requirements.
  • Documentation of circuit architecture and execution of design reviews.
  • Market monitoring for new products and suppliers, component selection.
  • Technical support for sourcing activities and component introductions.

 

Your profile as a Hardware Engineer (f/m/d):

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or Automation Technology (Bachelor’s / Master’s).
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in automotive development or a comparable environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of analog circuit design and switched‑mode power supply architectures.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing complex electronic assemblies and related quality requirements – nice to have.
  • Experience with the tools Codebeamer, Mentor Xpedition, MathCAD Prime, and SPICE simulation.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. German is nice to have.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
