Hardware Engineer – Force Sensing Systems
📍 Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)
We are seeking a Hardware Engineer to help develop next-generation force sensing technologies used in cutting-edge consumer devices. This is an exciting opportunity to work across hardware, firmware, algorithms, and system integration to deliver innovative user experiences at scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and integrate force sensing hardware from prototype through production.
• Drive hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and system characterization.
• Design and review schematics, support PCB development, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Firmware, Algorithm, and Operations teams.
• Develop embedded C/C++ solutions and Python-based test automation.
Qualifications
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in sensing technologies, embedded systems, robotics, or hardware development.
• Experience with force sensing technologies (strain, capacitive, resistive, or piezo sensors).
• Strong knowledge of mixed-signal systems, analog front-end design, ADCs/DACs, and hardware debugging.
• Proficiency in embedded C/C++ and hands-on lab testing.
