Job Title: Hardware Engineer (Level 2)

Location: North Reading, MA (100% Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Payrate: $50/hr. to $55/hr. on W2

Job Description

The Engineering Team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, technically driven Hardware Engineer to work in the Continuous Hardware Engineering Group responsible for released Semiconductor Test Systems and Instruments. Position will report to the Hardware Engineering Manager in North Reading.

The Candidate Will Work To Analyze, Understand, And With Guidance, Resolve Engineering-related Design And Obsolescence Issues In The Following State Of The Art Sub-systems

Base System – Power Infrastructure and Communication Interface, Calibration

DC Instruments – Including High Density, High Accuracy, High Voltage and Current

AC Instruments – Including High Performance Instruments

Responsibilities

• Test and qualify replacements for obsolete components
• Analyze and debug hardware to the component level
• Troubleshoot hardware using System SW Tools
• With guidance from senior engineers, evaluate and implement engineering related yield improvements
• Collaborate with other groups as needed
  
  

Must Have

• Experience with Analog and Digital Circuit design
• Strong system and component level troubleshooting experience
• Education requirements of BSEE or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of Hardware Engineering Test and/or Development experience
