This role is ideal for someone who enjoys
hands-on problem solving in existing systems
— not building from scratch, but
testing, analyzing, and improving firmware that’s already in production
.

What You’ll Do

Run automated tests on embedded firmware in production systems

Perform
static code analysis
and identify code-level issues

Conduct
network and security testing
(Wireshark or similar tools)

Debug and fix issues in
existing embedded C/C++ code

Analyze test results and drive
issue resolution and remediation

Support updates to
safety-critical, communication-based devices

Work closely with cross-functional teams while owning your tasks

Operate independently after initial ramp-up with minimal supervision

What They’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in
embedded systems / firmware engineering
-
Strong hands-on experience with
debugging and troubleshooting

Exposure to
firmware testing, validation, or QA environments
-
Experience with
static code analysis tools
(LDRA, Parasoft, SonarQube, Coverity, etc.)

Solid understanding of
embedded systems and hardware interaction
-
Ability to analyze issues and implement
practical fixes quickly
-
Comfortable working independently in an execution-focused role

networking concepts
