Firmware Engineer

Firmware Developer - Wireless Communication - (12-Month W2 Contract) – San Diego, CA

We are seeking a Firmware Developer for a 12-month W2 contract with an innovative wireless communications company based in San Diego. The successful candidate will design, develop, test, and debug embedded firmware for next-generation wireless communication products and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ for wireless communication devices.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to implement new features and resolve issues.
• Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization of firmware solutions.
• Support integration, validation, and product development activities.

Qualifications:

• Senior experience in developing embedded firmware in C/C++.
• Experience with real-time embedded systems and hardware interfaces.
• Wireless communications experience (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular, RF systems) is preferred but not required.

This is a 12-month W2 contract position located in San Diego, CA.
