Firmware Development Partner

We’re looking for a firmware development company.

GRT Corporation is building a new industrial IoT sensor device and we’re looking for an experienced embedded firmware partner to design, build, test and deliver the device firmware with us.

What the work involves:

•            Embedded C firmware on an ARM Cortex-M class microcontroller, on a custom PCB that is already designed and frozen.

•            A real-time operating system (RTOS) architecture with multiple concurrent tasks.

•            High-rate sensor data acquisition over SPI/DMA, plus on-device signal processing (FFT).

•            Secure connectivity to the cloud — MQTT over TLS, using a hardware secure element.

•            Written to a recognized safety-critical coding standard (MISRA C), with a clear test and acceptance plan.

•            From detailed specification through to a production-ready, field-reliable build.

What we’re looking for in a partner:

•            A track record of shipping production embedded firmware, ideally for industrial or other regulated products.

•            Strong engineering discipline: version control, code review, continuous integration, documentation.

•            Able to work to a fixed, well-defined specification and commit to milestones.

•            Comfortable working under NDA from day one.

Location: we’d prefer a partner in the Czech Republic, but we’re also open to teams in the USA and India.
