About the Project
Seeking an experienced engineer to design and build a custom network security appliance and companion mobile application. The system will combine hardware, embedded software, cybersecurity, networking, and mobile applications into a single product that provides advanced control and security for a home network.
Responsibilities
- Design the overall hardware and software architecture.
- Develop embedded Linux-based networking software.
- Implement firewall, VPN, and security features.
- Develop backend services and APIs.
- Build Android and iOS applications.
- Integrate hardware controls including buttons, LEDs, and device interfaces.
- Implement device approval and access control systems.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and security features.
- Test, document, and deliver the complete solution.
