Our flagship product, RUVI OilDiver, is an ATEX Zone 0 certified robotic solution designed for the internal inspection of above-ground storage tanks. We operate in some of the most critical infrastructure sectors across Europe and beyond.

Job Description

We are looking for a Field Robotics Engineer or Site Engineer to join our operations team for the RUVI OilDiver project. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, deploying and supervising robotic tank inspections at client sites across Europe. You will work closely with our engineering and software teams to ensure accurate data collection and effective troubleshooting in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute on-site deployments of the RUVI OilDiver robotic system.
  • Perform pre-inspection setup, calibration and basic maintenance of robotic and sensor systems.
  • Coordinate with the customer and internal teams to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Monitor data acquisition and communicate inspection progress in real time.
  • Assist in post-inspection data transfer and reporting processes.
  • Ensure safety protocols and site-specific regulations are followed at all times.

Qualifications

  • Engineering or technical high school degree (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical-Electronics, or a related field).
  • Fluent in English is a plus.
  • EU mobility is a must, holding either a European Union passport or a special Turkish passport (eligible for EU visa-free travel).
  • Hands-on technical skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work in industrial environments (e.g., refineries, tank terminals).
  • Strong sense of responsibility, safety and customer orientation.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

  • Experience in robotics, NDT (non-destructive testing), or industrial fieldwork.
  • Familiarity with inspection or integrity management standards (e.g., API 653, EEMUA 159).
  • Familiarity with industrial field applications.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work with advanced robotic systems in a high-impact field.
  • International exposure across various industrial facilities.
  • A dynamic team environment in a growing deep-tech start-up.
  • Career development and hands-on training with real-world applications.
