About the Role
Prenishq is building a
laser frequency stabilization system
for scientific and industrial laser applications. We are developing a real-time control platform using FPGA + digital signal processing to stabilize laser frequency for precision optics systems.
We are looking for a hands-on engineer who can quickly prototype and implement
real-time control systems on FPGA/embedded platforms
.
This is a
build-focused role
with immediate hardware development responsibility.
What You Will Work On
You will help design and implement a working laser control system including:

FPGA-based real-time signal processing
-
Digital PID control loops
-
Lock-in amplification (digital implementation)
-
ADC/DAC interfacing with analog signals
-
Embedded firmware for real-time control systems
-
Integration with photodiode-based feedback signals
-
Debugging and bringing up hardware prototypes
You will work closely with optics and hardware engineers.
Required Skills (Must Have at least 2–3)
-
FPGA development (Verilog / VHDL / or HLS)
-
Embedded C/C++ programming
-
Experience with control systems (PID or feedback systems)
-
Signal processing (DSP basics)
-
Working with ADC/DAC or real-time data acquisition systems
-
Debugging hardware-software systems
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
-
Experience with laser systems or optics labs
-
Saturated absorption spectroscopy or laser stabilization (ECDL, PDH, etc.)
-
Lock-in amplifiers (hardware or software)
-
Experience in research instrumentation or lab equipment
-
Python for data analysis or control
-
Experience with oscilloscopes / lab measurements

Freshers with strong project experience are welcome.
