Embedded Systems Engineer

Company Description Leggett & Platt Automotive is a global leader in automotive seating comfort and convenience systems, serving OEM and Tier 1 customers worldwide. We are looking for an engineer that has had some experience working as an embedded systems engineer that has worked through decomposing stakeholder requirements and generating robust system requirements, working closely with the software and hardware engineers along with our mechanical teams to deliver robust embedded solutions to our customers.

Qualifications: University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field

· Minimum of 2 years experience in an automotive electronics systems engineering role

· Excellent communicator, both in person and in writing

· Knowledge of APQP and project delivery processes

· Experience working directly with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers

· Experience with ALM tools (Codebeamer preferred)

· Experience with OEM testing specifications an asset

· Experience in ASPICE and Functional Safety an asset
