Embedded Software Test Automation Engineer (Python)

Overview / Summary

We are seeking an Embedded Software Test Automation Engineer to develop and execute functional and integration test plans for software platform components. This role requires experience in software testing, test automation, and Python scripting to support automated test execution and overall test coverage. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the delivery of innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements.
• Develop and execute functional and integration test plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design test plans and test environments for software solutions spanning multiple domains.
• Develop and maintain automated tests.
• Perform test failure analysis and troubleshooting.
• Conduct test coverage analysis.
• Contribute ideas and solutions as part of a collaborative team environment.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of software testing experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronics platforms.
• Experience with test automation using Python.
• Experience testing embedded operating systems.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes.
• Experience using Jira.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
