Embedded Software Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning & execution of automotive embedded software/hardware projects
• Set milestones, assign ownership, track progress, and deliver clear status reports to stakeholders
• Coordinate engineering, testing, suppliers, and OEM teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Maintain deep technical understanding of embedded architectures & engineering completeness
• Guide development teams, lead technical discussions, and drive solutions to complex challenges
• Occasionally contribute hands-on to software development/debugging tasks as needed

Qualifications

• 8+years in the automotive software industry, with 2+ years of proven project management experience
• Strong knowledge of automotive embedded software requirements & system architectures
• Proficiency in C programming for real-time/embedded applications
• Hands-on experience with CMMI and/or ASPICE development processes
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with AUTOSAR standards & implementation
• Familiarity with ISO 26262, agile/waterfall hybrid delivery, or CI/CD practices
