Embedded Software Intern

Role Overview
As an Embedded & IoT Virtual Intern at Unifern, you will go through a structured 4-week training program designed to mirror how embedded engineers actually work — with scheduled learning sessions, weekly project deadlines, and final capstone delivery.

You won't just watch videos. You will build, submit, and demonstrate projects.

Start Date: July 6, 2026
Duration: 1 Month
Mode: Online (Weekday Evening Sessions — Schedule shared on WhatsApp)
Stipend: Unpaid — Learning Focused
Eligibility: ECE / EEE / CSE / Mechatronics Engineering Students
Experience Required: None — Freshers Welcome

Intern Responsibilities

- Attend scheduled evening sessions consistently
- Complete and submit 3 mini projects on time
- Deliver a final capstone project by end of Week 4
- Maintain minimum 80% session attendance
- Upload projects to your personal GitHub

Skills & Tools You Will Gain

- Embedded C programming for microcontrollers
- Hands-on with Arduino Uno, ESP32 & Raspberry Pi Pico
- Digital I/O, PWM, sensor & LCD interfacing
- Communication protocols — UART, I²C, SPI
- IoT cloud integration & dashboard design using Blynk
- Wireless concepts — Wi-Fi, MQTT, BLE, OTA
- Simulation using Tinkercad & Wokwi
- Interrupts, timers & non-blocking code design
- RTOS & FreeRTOS multitasking on ESP32
- Introduction to Python
- Project documentation using GitHub

Basic Requirements

- Laptop with stable internet connection
- No prior embedded knowledge needed
- Willingness to attend sessions and submit projects on time

Certification
Interns who meet attendance and project submission requirements will receive an official Internship Completion Certificate from Unifern — verifiable and LinkedIn-ready.
