About the Role

We are looking for an Embedded Engineer – Low-Level & Drivers to join our Platform Engineering team at our site in Rosh Ha'Ayin. If you are passionate about low-level development, working close to hardware, and building the core infrastructure of advanced robotic and autonomous systems, this is your opportunity to take part in shaping next-generation defense technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain low-level embedded software in C and C++ for real-time systems
  • Design, implement, and debug device drivers such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN and PWM
  • Work on board bring-up, hardware validation, and system-level debugging
  • Build and maintain BSP layers and firmware infrastructure for new platforms
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, and peripherals into embedded systems
  • Interface with flight control stacks such as PX4 and enable hardware abstraction and control
  • Optimize real-time performance, latency, and resource utilization
  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineers during design, bring-up, and production
  • Support system integration and debugging in lab and field environments

Required Skills

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in embedded software development using C and C++
  • Strong hands-on experience with low-level drivers and hardware interfaces
  • Experience working with RTOS or Linux-based embedded systems
  • Deep understanding of microcontrollers and SoC architectures
  • Experience with debugging tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with real-time control systems or robotics platforms
  • Experience with PX4 or similar flight-control frameworks
  • Experience working with communication protocols
  • Experience working on drones, robotics, or autonomous systems
  • Knowledge of bootloaders, firmware update mechanisms, and system bring-up processes
