We are looking for an experienced
Embedded Linux / Real-Time Software Engineer
to join a leading defense company and take part in developing advanced Embedded Linux and Real-Time systems.
Work on complex, multidisciplinary systems, from software requirements and design through development, integration, and testing.
What will you do?

Develop and adapt Linux drivers and user-space components for hardware boards

Develop interfaces and integrations with simulators

Develop Real-Time applications

Develop software for advanced distributed laboratory systems

Perform hardware-software integration for complex system components
Requirements
-
Experience developing Real-Time or Real-Time Embedded systems using C, C++, or Python

Experience working in Linux, Linux RT

Experience with POSIX
-
Experience with Makefiles
-
Good understanding of how Linux drivers operate within the Kernel
-
Familiarity with Linux driver concepts such as Char Devices, PCIe, Major/Minor numbers, and file operations (fops)
-
Experience working closely with hardware, including reading electrical schematics and using lab equipment

Integration experience – an advantage
