Job Summary
We are seeking an
Embedded Software Engineer
to develop and commercialize
cellular modem software
for the North American market. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
cellular technologies, L1/PHY protocols, and embedded software development
.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and support commercialization of cellular modem software.

Analyze field and test equipment logs, debug issues, and implement fixes.

Participate in new feature development and verification activities.

Understand and optimize existing embedded software to improve overall performance.

Work with test equipment and vendor drops to validate and troubleshoot features.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with
5+ years
, Master's degree with
3+ years
, or PhD with relevant experience in
wireless communication technologies
.

Strong programming skills in
C/C++
within embedded environments.

Solid understanding of
embedded systems concepts and Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL)

Strong knowledge of
3GPP L1 protocol specifications

Hands-on knowledge of
physical layer channels

PDCCH, PDSCH, and PBCH

Familiarity with
MAC, RLC, PDCP, and RRC
protocols is preferred.

Experience using test equipment to verify and debug assigned features and issues.
