Embedded Software Development Hands On Manager

A global industry leader developing the world’s most widely adopted cloud platform, with clients from successful startups to Global 500 companies and offices in Central and Northern Israel, is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager .

This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who prefers to stay close to the software, dive into code, and make complex architectural decisions based on deep personal experience rather than oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the engineering team, including recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and developing software engineers by setting a strong personal and technical example.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, performance metrics, and quality assurance.
• Plan and prioritize project schedules and allocate resources efficiently to ensure strict adherence to deadlines and standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between hardware, firmware, software, and QA teams.

Requirements (Must-Have):

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from a leading university .

4+ years of experience in engineering team management .

6+ years of experience with C programming .

7+ years of proven software development experience in Embedded and/or Firmware .
