Embedded Software Developer

Job Summary

Xtrawrkx is hiring on behalf of one of the leading organizations in the EV domain .

We are looking for an Embedded Automotive Platform Developer with 2–5 years of experience in ECU software development. The role focuses on BSP, device drivers, RTOS, and hardware abstraction , with AUTOSAR exposure being a plus.

You will work closely with hardware, application, and testing teams to build reliable and scalable embedded systems .

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded software using C/C++ for automotive ECUs
• Work on BSP, drivers, and low-level firmware
• Develop RTOS-based applications (tasks, interrupts, timers)
• Support ECU bring-up and hardware–software integration
• Debug systems using tools like JTAG, Lauterbach, Trace32
• Perform testing, debugging, and system validation

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in Embedded C/C++
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, interrupts, timers, memory
• Experience with RTOS concepts
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN protocols
• Hands-on with debugging tools & build environments

Nice to Have:

• AUTOSAR exposure
• Bootloader / startup code experience
• Knowledge of Ethernet / FlexRay
• Experience with EV ECUs (BMS, VCU, Powertrain, etc.)
