Embedded Software Developer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer to take full ownership of our Linux kernel, driver development, and Yocto-based build system. As the primary authority on hardware-to-software communication, you will be responsible for the lowest layers of the stack – ensuring the OS is correctly configured for the target hardware and that performance is optimized at the driver level.

Main Tasks:

• Kernel Development: Design and implement kernel-level modules and drivers

• HW-SW Integration: Take primary responsibility for hardware-software communication concepts and troubleshooting

• Build System Ownership: Manage and optimize complex Yocto layers for the platform

• Technical Mentorship: Lead the organization in understanding Linux principles and hardware interaction

• Delivery Automation: Ensure the base OS image is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline efficiently

Your Profile:

• Experience: 2+ years specifically in Linux Kernel development

• Deep understanding of electronics and HW-SW communication

• C (advanced)

• Yocto (advanced)

• C++ (Nice to have)

• Rust (Nice to have)

Starting salary is: 2 800 EUR/month . This salary is a minimal guaranteed base salary and can be higher, depending on your skills, level, education, professional experience and technological know-how.
