Your Tasks And Responsibilities
As an Embedded Software Developer, you will participate in the development and continuous improvement of Dalemans gas detection systems. You will be part of the multidisciplinary R&D team.

Development of embedded software, mainly in C language, on ARM microcontrollers
-
Development of PC tools to configure and/or update devices.

Management of the iterative process including version control (git) and deployment
-
Development and execution of embedded software validation tests
-
Support for analyzing and resolving problems reported by users
-
Writing technical documentation related to assigned projects: software architecture, technical specifications, preparation of documentation for certifications

Your Skills
-
Degree in computer science, or computer or electronics engineering.
-
You demonstrate proven experience (2 to 5 years) in embedded programming, preferably on ARM microcontrollers, in the context of commercial product development.

You are proficient in C and Python programming languages. Knowledge of C++ and C# languages is a plus.

You are equally comfortable with real-time application development (FreeRTOS) and bare metal.

You are able to occasionally develop PC tools to configure/test your embedded applications. In this regard, knowledge of the Qt framework and/or the Robot Framework environment is a plus.

Your knowledge of electronics allows you to understand the hardware environment hosting your embedded software and its low-level interfaces.

Knowledge of communication buses such as CAN or Modbus is a real asset.

You are aware of the challenges of critical systems (safety). Experience in programming compliant with a functional safety standard is a plus.

You are familiar with modern collaboration methods and tools (Atlassian suite).

You speak French and have a very good understanding of spoken and written English.
