Our mission is to make roads safer, enable autonomous driving in all-weather scenarios, optimize traffic flow for reduced travel times and enable greener, smarter cities. </p> <p>We are a German company with international presence, having own teams in the UK and in the US, while we are headquartered in Braunschweig for design, development and production. </p> <p>We make the future of mobility a reality. </p> <p>We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer for our automotive radar sensors.</p> <h2 id="your-tasks">Your Tasks</h2> <ul> <li>Embedded software development, mainly in C, to a limited extent in C++ and Python</li> <li>Design and implementation of application software for automotive, industrial and defense radar sensors</li> <li>Integration of software modules from other groups, creation and adaptation of s/w interfaces</li> <li>Unit- and integration testing (GoogleTest and PyTest)</li> <li>Contribution to the s/w development process: feature ticket creation, analysis, implementation, testing</li> <li>Customer interaction with regard to requirements, testing, problem solving</li> </ul> <h2 id="your-strengths">Your Strengths</h2> <ul> <li>Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field</li> <li>Significant professional experience in software development, especially in embedded C software development</li> <li>Experience in automotive radar, especially with TI AWR family of radar solutions and/or NXP SAF85xx or TEF family of RFICs and/or NXP S32R4x family of radar processors</li> <li>In addition to very good programming skills in C/C++, basic Python skills are important</li> <li>Experience with relevant systems such as JIRA, Redmine, and GIT would be desirable</li> <li>Knowledge of Linux, NXP and TI DSP architectures would also be an advantage</li> <li>Experience in hardware bring-up is a plus</li> <li>You enjoy working in a team and have a hands-on mentality</li> <li>Good to very good English skills are required</li> </ul> <h2 id="what-you-can-expect-from-us">What you can expect from us</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Innovation:</strong> latest technology, innovation and rapid development cycles, excellent work- and test equipment</li> <li><strong>Pleasant working environment:</strong> informal culture, motivated teams, short communication channels, room for active participation</li> <li><strong>Future-oriented workplace:</strong> modern buildings, offices and labs, permanent employment and individual training opportunities</li> <li><strong>Attractive location:</strong> located directly next to the highway, direct bus stop at our facilities, parking facilities for cars and bikes, free charging of electric vehicles</li> <li><strong>Flexible working:</strong> hybrid working (4 days office presence per week)</li> <li><strong>Activities:</strong> team events, gym membership and more</li> <li><strong>Other benefits</strong></li> </ul>
