Embedded Linux & Robotics Software Engineer

We are a US startup opening an office in Belgrade and we're looking for an exceptional engineer who lives and breathes embedded Linux and gets excited about building the next generation of robotic platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement real-time software systems for our cutting-edge robotics platform
• Lead embedded Linux development, including kernel modifications, device drivers, and BSP development
• Architect and develop high-performance robotics software across our technology stack
• Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize system performance
• Help shape our core robotics architecture and technical direction

What You Bring:

• Strong experience with embedded Linux development (kernel, drivers, bootloaders)
• Proven track record building production robotics software in C++
• Experience with real-time systems and performance optimization
• Familiarity with modern robotics frameworks (ROS2, etc.)
• Passion for clean, maintainable code and good development practices

Bonus Points:

• Experience with hardware interfaces (CAN, I2C, SPI)
• Background in control systems or motion planning
• Contributions to open source robotics projects
• RTOS development experience
