Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Embedded Linux BSP (Board Support Package) Engineer at our facility in Bangalore, India. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing Linux BSPs tailored to specific hardware platforms, managing Linux system components, and troubleshooting low-level platform issues. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable development, deployment, and maintenance of embedded devices.


Qualifications

  • 6 to 8 Years of experience in Embedded Linux BSP development & porting
  • Linux BSP and Driver development on NXP and TI Platforms
  • Proficient in Yocto build system
  • Experience in u-boot, linux, systemd boot optimization
  • Expertise in Linux Kernel and Linux System Administration
  • Proficient in System Administration and infrastructure management
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for embedded systems and device drivers
  • Experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware-software integration
  • Strong programming skills with C/C++ and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
  • Understanding of networking protocols and security standards
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related fields
