Position Overview
This is a junior-level
Embedded Hardware Engineering role
focused on the design and development of
electronic hardware systems for embedded products of Marmon Foodservice Technologies
, an Industry group within
Marmon Holdings
.
The role involves assisting in hardware design activities such as schematic development, component selection, basic PCB design support, prototype assembly, and validation testing. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in working with sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces while learning industry-standard design and debugging practices.
The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to support product development, prototyping, and continuous improvement initiatives, while ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks and maintaining quality standards.
Mandatory Skills:

Basic understanding of analog and digital electronics

Familiarity with circuit design principles and electronic components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, etc.)

Exposure to schematic design and basic PCB design tools (KiCad, Eagle, Altium – academic level)

Understanding of microcontrollers and hardware interfacing basics
-
Knowledge of sensors, actuators, and control systems fundamentals
-
Awareness of communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, and I2C
-
Basic knowledge of testing tools (multimeter, oscilloscope – academic exposure acceptable)

Understanding of hardware debugging and troubleshooting concepts
-
Exposure to manufacturing processes and hardware prototyping

Familiarity with IoT hardware systems is a plus

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to document designs, test results, and technical findings

Bachelor’s degree in

Academic project or internship involving
