Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Embedded Engineer role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Embedded Engineer will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for microcontroller- and microprocessor-based systems, from requirements analysis through deployment. Daily responsibilities include writing and optimizing embedded code, integrating software with hardware, and performing systematic debugging and testing. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define specifications, reviewing schematics and hardware designs, and supporting board bring-up and validation. The engineer will also contribute to IoT-enabled solutions, participate in design reviews, and prepare technical documentation for internal and customer use.
Qualifications

Strong skills in Embedded Software Programming and Embedded Software design for microcontrollers and microprocessors.

Hands-on experience in Software Development for embedded systems, including coding, integration, and unit testing.

Proficiency in Debugging embedded applications using tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or protocol analyzers.

Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) concepts, including connectivity protocols, edge devices, and cloud integration.

Good understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS), communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN), and basic electronics.

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

Ability to read schematics, work closely with hardware teams, and participate in system-level debugging.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and standard development workflows is an advantage.

Prior experience in product development, testing, or certification for industrial or consumer embedded products is a plus.
