Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Lead to drive the development and integration of mission-critical surveillance and positioning technologies for next-generation defense aerospace platforms. This role focuses on system architecture, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable and certifiable avionics solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the definition, analysis, and management of system-level requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

Design and support surveillance, navigation, and aircraft positioning capabilities for military aerospace programs.

Collaborate with customers, certification authorities, and internal engineering teams to ensure program objectives are met.

Oversee system verification, validation, safety assessments, and compliance with applicable aerospace standards.

Support system integration activities and resolve complex technical challenges across multidisciplinary teams.

Prepare and review technical documentation required for certification and program milestones.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in system engineering for military or defense avionics programs.

Strong background in airborne surveillance technologies, with experience in collision avoidance systems (TCAS) considered an advantage.

Familiarity with aerospace certification processes, including DO-178C and system-level compliance requirements.

Experience working with aviation regulatory agencies, defense customers, or certification organizations.

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
